Silk frontals are made with hair strands knotted through lace and then pulled through another layer of skin like silk hiding the knots of the lace base. Silk closures tend to last longer, and since the roots already look natural, you don’t need to bleach the knots. The skin like silk closure conceals the knots with the extra layer on top of the lace, and due to this the closure tends to be just a little bit thicker than the one layer lace closure.
