WHY BES? 

Because we are the customer. Being natural isn’t a new trend for us. We have been natural our entire lives! On top of that WE. KNOW. HAIR. EXTENSIONS. We have become trailblazers in creating every single hair pattern to look just like your own, and to be treated just like your very own hair. We were tired of hair companies selling us fake hair that matted or shed, didn’t match our hair texture, packaging was off, and could not use like our very own. We put an end to the madness and created a company that is basically your hair in a bottle (our packaging is luxe bottles)!

 

WHERE IS YOUR HAIR FROM? 

Our single donor unidirectional raw virgin hair is privately sourced and purchased from Burma, which is a small beautiful cultured place located between China and India. The women there do not use any chemical products on their hair, and their hair is durable, healthy, strong and it also takes color well. 

 

HOW DO YOU DO IT?

The BES hairstylists and technicians take the raw hair, and when you place your order, we start making the curl pattern you desire using no chemicals.

 

CAN I SILK PRESS BES HAIR?

Yes! Make sure to send us pics!

 

CAN I COLOR BES HAIR?

Yes! Again, make sure to send us pics so we can show you off! And if you don’t know how to color, no worries, we can color it for you! When we color the hair, we color the hair before making your desired curl pattern for maximum results!

 

CAN I BLEACH BES HAIR?

Yes! You can definitely bleach BES hair. We would suggest going to a stylist that actually specializes in bleaching hair, since we have no refund and exchanges if you mess up your hair experiment. Remember, bleaching isn’t actually good for hair period. And excessive bleaching will loosen your natural hair and our hair extensions by up to 1 centimeter. However, we would like to strongly express that if you bleach BES hair the curl pattern does not fall completely.

 

CAN I GO SWIMMING IN CHLORINE WATER?

Yes! But did you know that Chlorine is made to kill minerals and bacteria from water? This means that chlorine will strip out all the natural oils and vitamins in your hair. Yes, you can swim in the hair, but we highly recommend using Ultra Swim before and after swimming (found on our website) and you’ll be good to go!

 

HOW MANY BUNDLES DO I NEED?

Many get away with one 5oz bundle, depending on the head size and how your stylist braids down your hair. But here are the BES suggestions for a full head with no closure or frontal added. If adding a closure, remove 1 bundle, and if adding a frontal remove 1-2 bundles: 

  • The key is to get 10oz-12oz for a full head

3oz Bundles:

8”-12” : 3 to 4 bundles

14”- 20” : 4 bundles 

22” - 30” : 5 bundles

 

3.5oz Bundles: 

8”-12” : 3 bundles

14”- 20” : 3 to 4 bundles 

22” - 30” : 4 bundles

WHAT IS A “MM”?

"MM" is the abbreviation for a millimeter. If you see a curl that is named “6MM” for instance, that means that the curl diameter is 6 millimeters, and if you pull up a ruler, you can easily understand the curl size. The larger the curl number the bigger the curl will be. So a 3MM curl is only 3 millimeters, but a 20MM curl is 20 millimeters which is 17 millimeters bigger than the 3mm curl. 

 

CAN I MIX TEXTURES?

Yes, if you’d like. However we do not sell a mixed bundle. Meaning you cannot purchase 1 bundle of hair and part of that bundle is one texture and another part of that same bundle is another texture. You will need to order 2 separate bundles if you would like to mix textures.

 

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO STYLE THE HAIR?

The beautiful thing about BES hair is that you get to treat the hair just like your own natural hair. Majority of people are used to silicone curls, where the curl pattern looks exactly the same across the board, and you don’t do anything and the curl stays there. That is not BES hair at all. You actually have to wake up and do your hair. If you are not used to a big head full of kinky curls, it can be overwhelming at first. But we guarantee that once you get a regimen down, hair styling will be a breeze and extremely fun!  

If you click on the curl pattern you’d like, we have full hair care directions in the description. But the simplest way we can advise is this: 

  1. PART HAIR BY THE TRACK (a track is the single wefted row)
  2. BRUSH THAT TRACK 
  3. MOVE ON TO THE NEXT TRACK
  4. BRUSH THAT TRACK
  5. KEEP GOING UNTIL ALL TRACKS ARE BRUSHED OUT
  6. WET THE HAIR
  7. DAMPEN HAIR
  8. ADD PRODUCT (we recommend the hair care product(s) in the BES Life section)
  9. AIR DRY, DIFFUSE, OR BLOW DRY 
  10. WAIT UNTIL THE HAIR IS DRY BEFORE PLAYING IN IT, SO YOU DON’T CAUSE FRIZZ

 

DO I NEED TO SEAL THE WEFTS?

No. When we make your wefts we don’t use the normal thread 99% other hair companies use. We use polyurethane thread. Polyurethane thread is basically thread glue on it, so the hair is not only tied together from the thread, but also the glue. 99% no shedding rate! 

 

HOW LONG DOES BES HAIR LAST?

It is hair. Just like your own hair, BES hair has no expiration date. If you are purchasing hair and have to ask for its longevity, you need to come to BES. Our clients still send us photos of their hair after 6 years!

WHAT DOES MY ORDER STATUS MEAN?

CAN I EXCHANGE/RETURN USED HAIR?

No. Examine the hair prior to wetting, brushing, installing, etc. If you find the hair defected or incorrect in any way, contact us with pictures, and/or video to support your claim to presales@bohoexoticstudio.com. Once the hair is installed, wet, brushed out, or used in any way, the exchange program becomes null. If the defective item is not used, just send photos so we can assist on either an exchange or store credit (we provide no refunds).

We always have sample hair available for you to purchase. This way, you are able to check our quality, texture matching, and pure love for the product, before investing in our bundles. We do not return or exchange hair extensions, or provide free hair - please know this before ordering. We have no "special scenarios". All sales are final. Our facility has been checked, and verified as selling a human body part. With selling human body parts we must abide by US Law:

MY ORDER IS INCORRECT. WHAT DO I DO?

  3. TAKE VIDEO IF NECESSARY
  4. EMAIL US IMMEDIATELY WITH YOUR SUPPORTING EVIDENCE, SO YOU CAN RECEIVE THE ADDRESS TO IMMEDIATELY RETURN BACK TO US.
  5. DO NOT INSTALL THE HAIR. DO NOT ALTER THE HAIR, WHICH INCLUDES: Running your fingers through the hair, combing the hair, wetting the hair, untying and or unwrapping the hair, flat ironing the hair. Your job as the consumer is to fully inspect your order prior to using, and if there is ANY discrepancies, you need to contact us, not with just an email, but supporting evidence to validate your dispute.  

WE DO NOT EXCHANGE/RETURN ON OUR CUSTOM WIGS. LACE FRONT WIGS COME WITH STRAPS AND COMBS, EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE "NO STRAPS AND COMBS". ONLY TIME WE REMOVE STRAPS AND COMBS IS FOR FULL LACE UNITS, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS PRIOR TO ORDERING.

 We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item, etc.). There are no refunds. Only store credit.

Returning is at your cost, not ours. Full store credit is contingent that the bundle returned is unused. We will take photos of the hair extensions we receive in comparison with the same texture in house, along with photos of the weight, and the color. After the photos are taken, a decision will be made. If the hair you received is different than what you ordered, based off of the photos, we will provide store credit or replace the bundle(s), and refund your original shipping fee. Store credit or replacing the bundle is up to you.  

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

WE DO NOT HAVE A RETURN POLICY FOR BUYERS REMORSE.

 

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

You may cancel your order for store credit only within 2 hours of your order date/time. If you would like this, please email us at presales@bohoexoticstudio.com. 

 

SHIPPING POLICY

For your convenience it's always advisable not to wait until the last minute to place your order. If you have a deadline, hair appointment or other engagement it is always wise to order far enough in advance to allow for unanticipated delays.

We are not responsible for late shipments due to increment weather, US or International holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays, and weekends do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times. We entrust our carriers to deliver your package on time. If your package is delayed we will not offer a reimbursement of shipping charges. We do not send to any military bases, so please make sure you have the correct address for signature confirmation at the time of purchase or you will face a delay, Once your order has shipped we will send you a confirmation email.

If a shipment is returned to us due to a bad address we will reship via FedEx at no cost to you, however there will be a delay. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR REFUSED OR ABANDONED SHIPMENTS.

International Shipments must clear customs. The rules and requirements for customs clearance vary from country to country. We may fix the shipping label to where there is no cost to the customer if shipping overseas, however, it is the customer's responsibility to pay any additional taxes, fees or duties or to arrange for any permits or special paperwork that may be required.

 

How many Clip Ins do I receive with one order, and what are the measurements?

  • The awesome thing about clip ins is the versatility of wearing many different hairstyles, and picking and choosing how many clips you want to install for your chosen.
  • 1st CLIP IN IS 1 1/2 inches - AND HAS 1 clip - The smaller pieces are for the convenience to install in the front or sides 
  • 2ND CLIP IN IS 2 inches - AND HAS 1 clip - The smaller pieces are for the convenience to install in the front or sides
  • 3RD CLIP IN IS 2 inches - AND HAS 1 clip - The smaller pieces are for the convenience to install in the front or sides
  • 4TH CLIP IN IS 2 inches - AND HAS 1 clip - The smaller pieces are for the convenience to install in the front or sides
  • 5TH CLIP IN IS 6 inches - AND HAS 3 clips - This medium size clip is meant to be installed directly behind the top of the ears

DO YOU BLEACH THE KNOTS ON CLOSURES/FRONTALS?

Yes, but only at the base hairline, and only upon request.

But your future payments (in any dollar amount over $10) will be prepared as an invoice. Layaway orders can be cancelled for store credit only. If a refund must be made there is a cancellation and late fee of 45% of total amount due. Please let us know if you would like a refund minus the cancellation fee.

Layaway is not for the use of in stock items, and cannot be combined with any promotions, discounts or special offers. Any items still placed for layaway under violation of these conditions is immediately refunded.

WHOLESALE FAQ

WHAT DOES THE $289 MONTHLY FEE COVER?
The membership fee, which can not only be a monthly fee, but also a weekly or daily fee, is the flat rate fee that you would be charged elsewhere. This fee covers your shipping fee, which elsewhere will range $80-$200 every time you order. This also covers your usual PayPal fees or bank fees other companies would fluctuate on and charge you for. We encourage you to shop around and see other companies on their hair wholesale pricing. You will find that if the hair is available for wholesale, the quality of the hair is not the premium quality you would get at BES. Also, you will notice that though their prices may be lower, again, the quality, the thing that is supposed to bring you back, is gone. Other hair wholesalers are quick to sell to many people at a low price to get you to order, never caring about the quality, because they just got your money.  Furthermore, if hair wholesale is available the wholesale price is high, and the shipping fees are enormous! Overseas hair companies will charge a PayPal fee of 4% of your order, or a bank fee of the same, then they will charge a shipping fee on top of that. That alone can make your profit from the hair evaporate. When purchasing hair wholesale you have to worry about “how long will it take to get to me” we tell you before you order. You also have the worry of the cost, our prices are the lowest we’ve seen. And most of all you have to worry about the quality of the hair. And there is nothing worse than having a customer tell you that after all you went through in getting the wholesale hair, that you received “bad fake hair”. At BES you don’t have to worry about bad quality, as we’ve been seen in every major publication from Vogue to Essence to the Ellen show, from celebrities to women all over the world. You don’t get that kind of press from bad hair. Your membership fee pays for that. You can keep us private as your distributor or we encourage you to tell customers that the hair is BES Hair, so they know that they are getting quality hair at the price you decide!
 
DOES THE REFUND POLICY APPLY TO CUSTOM CURLS?
There is never any refund or exchange on custom curls as custom curls are not apart of our wholesale program.
 
WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES FOR SALES?
There isn’t any sales on wholesale. Wholesale is wholesale not retail. For sales and offers, see our retail side of the business. We encourage you to make your own sells with your wholesale hair.
 
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT?
There is no minimum order quantity, or MOQ, that is covered in your membership fee. 
 
CAN I USE YOUR PHOTOS?
If you want to repost any of our photos, as a wholesale member, you are able to.
 
WHAT ARE YOUR WHOLESALE PRICES?
Wholesale prices are not available to the public. Our prices start at $11. We do not have anything for sample. 
 
WHAT ARE YOUR RULES FOR BAD BUNDLES?
We do not sell bad bundles, nor have “parameters on bad bundles”. However, if you have an incorrect order, please let us know because we do offer returns and exchanges within 30 days from ordering on unused bundles.
 
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A WEBSITE/ECOMMERCE?
We don’t care if you sell it at your desk at work, out of your car, or on a website. 
 
CAN I STILL ORDER WHOLESALE IF I HAVE A STOREFRONT?
If you decide to open a store front, that is great, but does not change our business procedures. We have no rule stating, you cannot sell in stores.
